New products in our webshop

Our webshop is enriched with a number of new products. For example, there are some items custom made for the museum: a tote bag, USB stick, and magnet. But that's not all! There are more books in the shop. There's among others a special written specially for the museum with a lot of background stories.

Also don't forget to look at the card section. There is a nice package-deal: 10 cards from the permanent collection of the Kattenkabinet for 9 euros. It's always a surprise what cards are composed! Please take a look in the webshop, certainly worth a visit!

New website online!

Take a virtual tour of the unique building where the Cat Cabinet is housed and discover some of the fascinating pieces from the collection. Each room in the museum has been carefully documented, photographed from multiple angles. The paintings, sculptures and other pieces that you see during the tour are clickable, allowing you to get more information with a single click of the mouse. Don't forget to take a look at the webshop, either. Ordering posters, cards, books, bookmarks or t-shirts is simple, and your favorite items can be yours quickly and easily. In addition, we've highlighted a few special painters of cats, and the ceiling painting in the Ball Room can be examined up close without having to strain your neck. Naturally, the virtual tour is hardly a replacement for an actual visit to the Cat Cabinet. That is a unique experience that you won't want to miss. Welcome to Herengracht 497!
