Cats and artists in photograpy

In each photograph we see an unexpected, but familiar creature: a cat. It is like an artist, inquisitive and independent. Unlike humans, the cat does not hide his emotions. It doesn't follow orders and comes to you if it wants to be in your presence. It is this freedom and loving nature that attracts creative and talented souls.

Sixty portraits of artists, writers, actors and their cats are shown in this exposition.

New products in our webshop

Our webshop is enriched with a number of new products. For example, there are some items custom made for the museum: a tote bag, USB stick, and magnet. But that's not all! There are more books in the shop. There's among others a special written specially for the museum with a lot of background stories.

Also don't forget to look at the card section. There is a nice package-deal: 10 cards from the permanent collection of the Kattenkabinet for 9 euros. It's always a surprise what cards are composed! Please take a look in the webshop, certainly worth a visit!
